About Me
Engineering Reliable Systems, From Hardware to the Cloud
I’m Dimitris Zervas, a robotics engineer by background — I’ve spent years working across the full stack of intelligent systems, from electronics and hardware to control, perception, and autonomy software.
More recently, that same hands-on engineering mindset has carried over into a new focus: solutions and cloud architecture. Designing dependable infrastructure turns out to share a lot with designing a dependable robot — both need to work correctly, predictably, and under real-world conditions, not just in a lab or a diagram.
I enjoy building things that hold up: robots that act reliably in the physical world, and systems that run reliably in the cloud.
What I Bring
I bring a practical, systems-level view shaped by robotics — comfort with hardware, low-level detail, and how components fail in practice — applied now to cloud and solutions architecture. I care about building things that are reliable and secure by default, not just functional on the first try.
I keep things simple where I can, document what I build, and test it properly before calling it done.
